Dr. Jason Golightley
I had neck and shoulder pain...
I visited Golightley Chiropractic Center for neck and shoulder pain, and with the treatment and adjustments I was good to go in a matter of weeks. During the first visit Dr. Golightley gently asked if I wanted to be dependent on all five of the medications that I was currently on for life. I didn't know how to respond, because Doctors had put me on this medication for a reason.
The next visit I asked him about his comment and possibly getting off the medications. Dr. Golightley had me do an iron patch test and saliva test. These test showed were my hormones were not right and what my body was missing. With natural supplements and a healthier diet, I am now off of three of the medications and working on getting off the other two soon. I highly recommend Golightley Chiropractic Center-Dr. Golightley and Amanda are wonderful people who genuinely care about the health of their patients. ~Brenda H.
I was involved in an Automobile Accident...
I've been going to Dr. G since 2005. I was referred to him when I was involved in an automobile accident. Now, I see him for my overall health & wellness. I love the personal attention you get. He and Amanda make you feel like you're their number one client. I've been to many, many chiropractors over the years, and Dr. Golightley has delivered the best over all care that I received. I have been spoiled to the treatment...
Going in for a visit at Golightley Chiropratic is a whole new experience, It's not like any normal doctors visit it's much better!
Amanda has a warm welcoming approach that makes you feel right at home the minute you walk in, and no matter how busy she is, she always takes her time with the patients and never rushes them, She always makes sure if they need anything while their waiting and explains why the wait if you have to wait. During therapy Amanda & Dr. Golightley checks on you repeatedly to make sure your ok. Once in the room with Dr. Golightley he has an awesome bedside manner he is caring and patient and he takes his time with you so that when it's your turn in with the doctor he gives you his undivided attention as he does all his patient's.
Dr. Golightley is very informative as to what he is going to do and why it is needed and explains the benefits of the treatment and gives you the option if you want to go that route or another. I have been spoiled to the treatment that I receive when in the office that I will not change doctors and once there was an incident were they couldn't find a neck surgeon in this area on my insurance and so once we found one Dr. Golightley was hesitant to send me because he didn't know this doctor and or how he treated his patients, but I gave it try anyway and it was an awful experience but Amanda & Dr. Golightley comforted me and let me know not all doctors are like that and that they were very sorry that I had that experience and it wasn't their fault.

After only 1 treatment, my discomfort was greately reduced...
“It always seemed creepy that a person would pay someone to cause their bones to make uncommon noises! For that reason, I always shied away from Chiropractors. When my son's dentist recommended chiropractic treatment for his TMJ, I contacted Dr. Jason Golightley. After he saw improvement, I decided to give it a whirl for my own night time clenching and grinding. I was astonished! After only 1 treatment, my discomfort was greatly reduced.
Additionally, Dr. Golightley introduced me to the idea of functional medicine. From what I understand so far, functional medicine addresses the body functioning at optimum levels, not just within the "normal" parameters set by traditional medicine. After testing, my results showed two areas of concern: One, my adrenal gland function is extremely low, and two, I am not properly processing sugars. I have started on supplements to repair and improve these concerns. It has only been a week so far, but I think I am already starting to notice an increase in energy. I came to Golightley Chiropractic on a Saturday afternoon...
That same Saturday morning I had severely sprained my right ankle to the point of barely being able to walk with the assistance of my husband. I realized that my current chiropractor did not treat patients on weekends and/or if he did, on an emergency basis, he would charge quite a bit more. Looking through the phone book, I came to realize that the majority of the chiropractors were also closed on weekends - except Golightley Chiropractic, and they were open until 1:00 pm. It was already 12:30 by the time I came across their name in the phone book.
When I called and Amanda answered, I told her my situation and she told me not to worry that they would stay open for me. I neglected to tell her that I had to find someone to stay with my elderly mother who lived with us at the time because I thought I could get my son to stay with her, but he was on his way out of town, and then I panicked! I called my daughter and she said she was postponing what she had to do and would try to get to our house as soon as possible. I called Amanda again and told her my situation and she said for me not to worry that they would wait for me until I could get there!
Well, my daughter made it shortly after 1:00 and we left right away. This experience alone with Golightley Chiropractic - their going the extra, extra mile for a person that was not even one of their regular patients would have been enough to have made me a faithful patient, but there is even more! Right away there was a "connection" between both my husband and myself and Dr. Golightley.
We found that this sincerely interested and caring professional not only wanted to help me with my physical concerns, but also wanted to share with us their (his and Amanda's) health knowledge and their express purpose of healing the whole body by incorporating chiropractic body manipulation (alignments, etc) specific exercises, supplements that help internal alignment and also food education. Dr. Golightley not only adjusts your body, but also explains what he is doing and in many cases what you can do for yourself to heal and maintain your health.
On top of this, he calls you periodically to check how you are doing with his treatment. He (second only to G-d) not only helped my sprain to heal, but also through the use of orthotics, shoe inserts that help "correct" your foot alignment, (which he and Amanda gave me when I couldn't afford them at the time) helped me not only avoid another sprain but are helping my troubled feet to heal.
The supplements he recommended as a result of a lab test have also helped me tremendously to feel better and actually my body is getting healthier than it's ever been before. I would highly recommend Golightley Chiropractic (and I do) over other chiropractors because to them it's not just business - it's personal - they really and truly care - in fact to me they are God sent. ~ Sincerely, Flora C.
My daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis...
I wanted to write a testimony about chiropractic care. My 15 year old daughter was diagnosed by the local high school nurse. She came home to tell me she was told to go to a doctor cause she had scoliosis. I had taken her to the family doctor only to be told she was fine. She was just being lazy. My daughter kept complaining for months. Finally, I took her again, to the family doctor, and sure enough he sent me to a specialist. I was attending school at the time to further my career when a teacher at my school told me to take her to a chiropractor. I was uncertain but made the appointment anyway. Well, he said he could help her but he was not in my insurance plan. I happened to drive by Dr. Golightley's office and called to see if her insurance would cover the visit's.
I couldn't have been more pleased with Dr. Golightley and his wife Amanda. They are so pleasant and wonderful people but most of all the doctor helped my daughter's condition a lot. She was going to him for a few months, once a week or so. She has recently seen by her long time family doctor in the Houston area. He has said that her spine has only about an inch of curvature. I am truly GRATEFUL to Dr. Golightley for making me a BELIEVER in chiropractic care. I am now finishing school and working as a MA in a chiropractic office. Thank you.. ~Lydia F.
